How to Choose the Right Paint and Sip class for you

Cheers N Paint offers a wide variety of paint events so there is something for all tastes.   New public classes change weekly and are designed to appeal to different groups and tastes.  Adult sip and paint classes are in the evenings.  Our couple’s paintings are great for a date night.  Family paint days bring kids and adults together. We have canvases for Girls Night Out, different seasons and holidays.   No need to worry about creating your masterpieces.  Our art is designed with the novice painter in mind and our talented and professional staff are here to help.

Selecting the “right” painting is a matter of your taste.  You might consider where you are going to display the art in your home. Many clients enjoy creating a holiday painting to use in their home as a personal decoration.  We love the “gnome” collection and have several celebrating Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, spring and winter!  There is one wall in our kitchen featuring a painting that changes every season.  Some folks select a painting to gift to a friend or child. 

Others, like club members, paint a canvas that symbolizes their group or hobby. Most recently we added a “book club” canvas that shows the titles of books recently read.  Making art personal is part of making it memorable!

Fight off the feeling that painting is hard, our professional art instructors will make your evening stress-free and fun.  So many times, we hear “I can’t paint” from our customers on their way into the paint class.  These are the same people that leave our studio proud of their “masterpieces”. Our professional art instructors will guide you step by step with easy-to-follow instructions.  You’ll even learn a few art techniques along the way!  One of the artist’s mantras is “when in doubt simply blend it out!”  You’ll be very surprised to see what you can create.

Can you bring food for a paint and sip class?

Now my favorite part, Cheers N Paint is a BYO paint and sip studio.  You decide what food and drink you are in the mood for that night.  Whether it’s a simple takeout pizza, a plate of homemade appetizers, a bag of pretzels, or a fancy takeout dinner, just do it, the Cheers N Paint team has seen it all. The best part is when the night is done take what you want and leave the cleanup to us.

 

Can you bring drinks for a paint and sip class?

Next decide the drink you will be pairing with your food. As a BYOB studio, our paint and sip adult classes allow all beverages including alcohol less than 16 proof. Whether it’s a bottle of red, a bottle of white or maybe a rose instead, all are welcome. Ditto beer, seltzers, soft drinks, or a bottle of your favorite champagne.  The best part is you can enjoy the food and drink you like all while keeping your evening affordable. 

 

What should I wear to a Paint and Sip Class? 

The Cheers N Paint art studio is a place to come, relax and create.  You should feel at home in our space.  We recommend you dress comfortably and casually.  While we provide aprons, paint splatters. Acrylic paint does not wash out of clothing.  Please dress accordingly.

What to expect at a Cheers N Paint class

On your art day grab your goodies, check with your group to ensure everyone is ready for a great night out, and dress casually.  We supply everything necessary for your upcoming painting: aprons, a canvas, paint, brushes, easels, and a water pitcher.  The studio has plenty of space for you to use to lay out your food and beverages.  The atmosphere is relaxed and social.  

But most importantly, we provide talented and professional instructors who love what they do. Our instructors are all trained artists and love to share what they know to keep your evening stress-free.  They will remind you frequently that we are painting nature, and while there are many beautiful things in nature, there is nothing that is perfect.  So just relax and create!

Another reason to come to the studio and paint is the professional equipment and supplies provided.  We use high-quality acrylic paints, professional paint brushes of various sizes, and easels and create the perfect atmosphere for you to create!

Our studio was recently renovated and offers a clean and professional environment for your evening out.  Heated and air-conditioned, we maintain temperatures to keep you comfortable.  Studio seating is comfortable, we don’t pack our guests in, and we limit attendance to ensure everyone’s comfort.  Our goal is to make your time with us enjoyable, affordable, and memorable.

Cheers N Paint is conveniently located in Cary, North Carolina. We are family-owned and operated, not a franchise.  The paint studio is spacious, newly renovated and can accommodate up to sixty painters.  We offer a wide variety of events including Adult Paint and Sip Classes and Date Night Events typically offered on Friday and/or Saturday evenings.  Our specialty classes include Paint Your Pet events, Acrylic Flow Art classes, painted wooden signs, and DIY chunky blanket classes. Our “little customers” enjoy weekly art lessons and summer art camps.  In addition, our studio is available for private parties to celebrate all types of special occasions from Bridal Showers, Sorority events and Family reunions to Adult or Kids Birthday Parties and Corporate Team Building Events.

In addition to in-studio events we offer a wide range of offsite options that include events at housing complexes, business offices, and private homes.  All our offsite events can be provided with an artist on premises or via a Zoom Room. 

We have several long-term corporate, colleges, alumni groups, and housing complex clients that have worked with us for several years and continue to work with us. We’ve done groups as small as 8 and as large as 150!
