Mom’s are often asked what they would like on Mothers Day. The answer is simple; spending time with their children and loved ones. While most Mom’s cherish the handmade gifts of spaghetti necklaces from their preschoolers or a visit from adult children offering brunch at their favorite restaurant, special memories and time together is the highlight of the day.
Finding an activity that suits all ages and tastes can be a challenge. Our family at Cheers N Paint loves to host special Mother’s Day events each year. We enjoy watching folks gather with their mom or other special women in their lives to create a piece of art. The enjoyment of creating together is palatable. Some come days ahead of Mother’s Day to paint a canvas as a gift, while others enjoy bringing their moms and painting together.
Mother’s Day Ideas at Cheers N Paint
Each year we try and offer options that work for everyone; from families to singles to pet lovers! One of our most popular events is the parent and me class. This is a group of canvases, this year titled “Mama and Baby Birds”, that can be hung together. Everyone, including kids, can paint their portion of the canvas. What a great way to include the whole family!

Our Paint your Pet class is offered on Saturday afternoon. Individual instruction is available, so each customer paints their favorite furry friend.
A new canvas “Peaceful Serenity by the Lake” is offer this year for the adult crowd. Come Saturday evening and bring Mom’s favorite snack and beverage (including beer and wine) and enjoy a relaxing evening out.
Plan time with Mom and other Special Women in your life after brunch or before dinner out at our Open Paint event on Sunday from 1:00-3:00. Select your favorite artwork. We’ll provide the supplies and some advice from one of our artist instructors.
Our art studio is newly renovated and spacious, allowing plenty of space for each group. We are a BYOB studio and beer and wine along with other beverages and snacks are very welcome. Pricing includes all art materials along with guided instruction from our artists on staff making sure you leave with a masterpiece.
