Camp Pricing (per week)
$325 Full Day (early in / late out option)
$300 Full Day for 2nd week or 2nd sibling
$180 Half Day – Choose AM (9-12:30) or PM (1-4:30) session
Yes, we are an art camp, but you’ll do more than paint!
Each week includes different FUN activities. Campers begin the week decorating their painting apron for the week. Yes, you’ll enjoy creating acrylic paintings which center around the theme of the week. Other activities will vary but most weeks may include making tie-dye shirts, creating 2D and 3D art projects, chalk art, games, painting rocks, painting your “stuffed” pet, building a fictional creature or creating squirt gun art. We are very customer focused! Activities may change based on camper’s tastes, time constraints or just because we are having tooooo much fun doing something else.
Bring a friend or come and make new ones! Our art studio is spacious and air-conditioned, perfect for hot summer days. We go over and above when sanitizing our studio in between classes as well as maintaining social distancing. So, rest assured that your children are well cared for.
Here are the nine weeks of FUN for your child and each week has a different theme!
June 13-17 Animal Kingdom
Travel the North Carolina Zoo virtually and learn about animals from around the world. Create painting and build habits for your favorites.
June 20-24 Out of this World
Make your own rocket ship and explore the galaxy. To the Milky Way and beyond!
July 11-15 Time Travelers
Travel through time to the times of dinosaurs, medieval castles and the wild west.
July 18-22 Magical Worlds
Sprinkle a little magic into an everyday life with dragons, fairies, knights, wizards and trolls. Design your own fantasy land!
July 25-29 Color me GREEN
Reuse, Recycle, and Upcycle something old. Make it into New Art and DIY projects.
August 1-5 Superheroes – DC to Marvel
Boom POW Bang!!! Design your own comic, superhero mask and city to be saved.
August 8-12 Be Bold, Be Crafty
Paint with all the colors in the rainbow. This week is full of bright neon colors.
Learn different fun activities from spin art to acrylic pour.
August 8-12 It’s a Small World
Are Disney movies your favorite? Come geek out with the rest of our Disney lovers!
August 22-26 Under the Sea
Paint, splash and explore sea creatures, real and mythical, sharks to mermaids.
Meet our Summer Camp Staff
Lauren
Operations and Event Manager for Cheers N Paint Art Studio. BA degree in Visual Arts with concentrations in graphic design and elementary education. College intern as event planner for campus activities. Camp counselor experience with the Boy Scouts of America for 5 years
Ava
NCSU student pursuing a degree in Design and Animation. Experience as summer camp assistant at GSK Science Camp for 2 years. Volunteer at Marbles Museum for 6 years leading STEM play activities for visitors.
Clair
NCSU grad with a degree in Art and Design. Designed original animated characters to be used in STEM informational texts. Worked at the Gregg Museum of Art + Design as student ambassador.
