Kicking off the holiday season

Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving and Early Black Friday at Cheers N Paint!

Kicking off the holiday season!

Thanksgiving weekend is almost here.  A time that revolves around family, friends, food, football, homecoming events, fun and games.  Some folks have long-standing traditions; others look to create new ones.  We travel to gather with family and friends to celebrate, join with neighbors to share a meal, watch a football game, or attend homecoming events.

Lots of time is spent preparing a feast with fresh fall ingredients; turkey, stuffing, apple, or pumpkin pies relying on traditions and grandma’s recipes.  Others contribute their special dish and kids try their skills at baking or setting a holiday table.  Whatever your holiday entails, it’s a special time for making memories.

Whether it’s a traditional Thanksgiving or a Friendsgiving holiday, it is certain that everyone is looking to make the time together special.

Our family has its traditions too!  This year we’ll be lucky enough to have some of our Connecticut family joining us here in North Carolina.  Three generations of family, in-laws and friends will be at our table on Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed for nice weather to set a big table in the backyard, a new tradition, and a treat for the New England crowd.

Our day starts by watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, eating bagels, and sipping coffee in our PJ’s.  This year my son’s girlfriend will be marching in the parade, so we’ll be looking to see if she makes the telecast.  After that there’s the prepping and cooking of a turkey and fixings while back-to-back football games play on TV.  Cribbage, a long-standing tradition for after dinner, will likely be replaced this year with kid-friendly games for the grandkids.

For many, Thanksgiving means a weekend with time for activities everyone can enjoy together.  Maybe a drive to a tree farm or shopping Black Friday sales (don’t forget Cheers N Paint gift cards make a great gift too!).

Cheers N Paint has a weekend full of paint classes for you!   We’d love to see your family and friends at the studio for a paint event.  It’s fun for all ages; grandparent to grandkids.  Professionally led classes give everyone the guidelines to become an artist.  Nothing to bring but your friends and family, we supply all the art materials you need. Unlike the dishes, we do all the after-party cleaning!  It will be a holiday to remember!

One of our most popular events is our Family & Friends Special.  Offered Friday, 11/25, from 1:00-3:00.  You can paint the Snowman Family canvas and customize it just for your group.  You can even bring the leftovers to enjoy while you paint and party!  Even better, this special is offered at a discounted price.  For a group of 4, buy 3 tickets and get 1 free OR for a group of 3 paid artists, get a $25 gift card for a future event.  Book your space now by clicking here.

Friday afternoon not convenient for you? Check our website for all we have to offer this Thanksgiving weekend and the holidays beyond.

Our website www.cheersnpaint.com has more details about in-studio paint parties and DIY craft classes. Or contact us to book a private party this holiday season or call 919-995-6238.

Being that Cheers N Paint is family-owned and not a franchise, we have the flexibility to cater to your needs and make your celebrations memorable. Our staff can even include family and friends from out of town (advanced notice required) via Zoom and make them a part of your holiday celebration.

Our studio is BYOB (beer, wine, cider) for the evening adult classes.  Bring your favorite beverage and food that fits your taste and budget.  Our spacious studio has plenty of room for you to spread out and enjoy “goodies” while you paint and party.

We look forward to seeing you this holiday season and “creating memories with paint”.
