Little Splatters Kids Paint Classes are designed just for kids! Cheers N Paint added new paint classes to our studio because our daughter, one of our teaching artists, learned to paint when she was a child at a local art school. That love of painting grew into a career and we wanted to give kids the same chance to develop a love of art. Each class is an opportunity for children to dive into the world of colors and creativity, guided by skilled instructors who foster a nurturing environment. This approach helps in building their confidence and artistic skills.

Our Little Splatters Paint Classes are recommended for kids 6 and up, who love art and want to learn how to paint! Kids learn to sketch their own canvas and then paint their masterpiece. They learn basic art skills and new art techniques each time they paint a canvas. For example, they explore color mixing, brush techniques, and the use of shapes to create depth in their artwork. Each session aims to build upon what they learned previously, ensuring a progressive and comprehensive art education.

Our art studio offers a different, kid-friendly painting is each week. Classes are on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00-11:00 am. We are flexible and members can come to whichever classes fits your schedule that week. Each class includes an 11 by 14 canvas, art supplies, and instruction all for $27. Paintings are done in acrylic paint. Painters are welcome to come to the studio in person (limited to 15 students for safety and individual attention) or join the live classes virtually through our Zoom room. Memberships and sibling discounts are available, paint three classes and get the fourth class free. New members always welcome. This flexibility allows families to incorporate art into their busy lives, creating a fun and educational experience for everyone involved.

Please note we do not offer cash refunds once tickets have been purchased.  If you cannot make the paint class tickets are transferable IF studio is contacted not less than 24 hours in advance of event.

Art supplies are included in every class, ensuring that the children have access to high-quality materials. This allows them to focus on their creativity without worrying about the cost of supplies. We also provide guidance on how to take care of their materials, encouraging responsibility and respect for their artistic tools.

We also recognize that art can be therapeutic. Our classes aim to provide a safe space for children to express their emotions and thoughts through art. We encourage them to share their experiences and feelings if they wish, as this can be a valuable part of their creative journey.

Moreover, we believe in the importance of community. Therefore, we host family art nights, providing a platform for parents and children to create art together, strengthening their bond while exploring creativity. These events are fun, interactive, and a fantastic way to meet other families in the area.

In addition to our regular classes, we offer special workshops during school breaks and holidays. These themed classes provide an even more immersive experience, often focusing on specific techniques or styles, such as watercolor techniques or character painting. Children can also participate in group projects, fostering teamwork and collaboration as they create larger artworks together. We celebrate every child’s creativity through exhibitions of their works, allowing them to showcase their masterpieces to family and friends!

To further enhance the art experience, we occasionally invite local artists to conduct guest workshops. This exposure allows kids to learn from professionals and gain insights into the world of art beyond our studio setting. They can ask questions, observe different techniques, and even explore career possibilities in the arts.
